We had a great Christmas morning, Andrew woke up to find en empty cookie plate with scattered crumbs and a tipping over empty glass of milk. Santa must have been in a hurry!
Lots of great gifts all around, a good breakfast, and then complete 4 year old toy mania!

Christmas Eve 2010
We did something a little different this year, my whole life Christmas eve was a quiet family only sort of thing and this year Rebecca and I discussed spending dinner together. I told her Scott had made his ribs that he was just dying to have she and Jeremy try, and Jeremy was at home cooking a pot roast so we said let's do it! Sounds like a strange combo, BBQ ribs, pot roast, beans, and potato salad but it was all delicious.
The kids were absolutely nuts most of the evening but it really was a blast. It was the most fun I have had on Christmas eve that I can remember. And, we got some great family pics because we had someone there to take it! :)
Christmas eve at the Playground
What a great Christmas eve. We met our friends Rebecca, Sydney, and Jack at "red engine park," our name for it at least. It's official name in Georgetown is Kelly Park, but there happens to be an old red locomotive engine there, hence the name.
We had a great time exchanging gifts, swinging and sliding down the slides. And, we are expecting the whole Nolen family for dinner tonight.

Christmas Tree Tradition
We took our annual trip, well, so it is only the second year we have gone but we are going to go ahead and call this a tradition because we fully intend to continue next year. McIntyre's Nursey is a local business and they have fantastic Christmas trees. It is a lot of fun to go and pick out the tree, watch them prepare it and toss it in the back of the truck.
