swimming!

I don't have any pics to commemorate the event, BUT, Andrews actually was in the pool, by himself, no adults, no flotation devices. :) His feet could touch but he was walking around, swimming a little here and there but most importantly ALL ON HIS OWN!

I am so proud, I told him I am going to buy him his own pair of real goggles, since now he is a real swimmer. :)

Family Dinner with the Nolens

Jeremy cooked a new recipe tonight, a great stew with lamb... so good! that coupled with great company made for a great Sunday night.

The kids enjoyed playing outside, hunting for ladybugs, shoveling sand *out* of the sand table, and running around the yard in pedal cars...

Andrew and I are enjoying a great Sunday afternoon making brownies and muffins to bring with us to the Nolen's this evening as we've been invited over for dinner. Andrew is actually a great "cooker guy" as he puts it.

He mostly cracks the eggs, and licks the bowl!

Our First Bike Hike

Andrew and I had a a great time today exploring all of the wonderful bike trails around our local park, checking out the river, and racing over bridges. It really was the first time we rode our bikes together, instead of going with him on a ride. Such a wonderful time!
